Why should I clean my trash bin?

Dirty trash cans can be home to many harmful bacterias and virus such as but not limited to E-Coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Staphylococcus. We not only “clean” we disinfect, sanitize, and deodorize the bins.

Do you provide service for commercial or residential clients?

Both! Our unique 2 in 1 Solid Waste Eco Wash System allows us to handle Commercial Size Dumpsters of 14,12,10,8,6, 4 cubic ft as well as Residential garbage cans.

How does the trash cleaning service work?

Through the use of our Solid Waste Eco Wash System we high heat pressure wash your bin with water over 200 degrees Fahrenheit and a proprietary eco-friendly cleaning solution. Our system is built to minimize water waste and reduce harmful bacteria from entering our storm drains.

Is it my responsibility to maintain my garbage bin?

Yes, mainly cities including our beautiful city of Las Cruces leave the maintenance and cleaning of your garbage bins as your responsibility.

How often should I clean my garbage can?

This varies, however, we do recommend a monthly maintenance plan for cleaning your garbage bins.

Do I have to sign up all my trash cans?

No, however our prices include 2 bins per wash. Additional trash cans can be added for an additional $10 to your subscription service.

Do I need to be on a subscription for trash cleaning services?

No, however, we do highly recommend subscription for our services so that you secure a spot on our schedule, we have limited residential availability with our Solid Waste Eco Washing Unit at the moment. We also charge a premium for one time service calls.

Can I alternate or rotate bins each cleaning cycle?

We do not recommend rotating your bins as we have noted which bins to wash for our drivers. We can add additional bins for an additional $10 per bin.

What areas does Southwest Bin and Pressure Washing service?

We currently provide service to Las Cruces, NM and surrounding areas within 20 miles. If you are outside of our service area we can schedule your visit with an additional fee.

What happens if I move out of the service area?

If you are moving outside of a service area, please provide us with 30 days notice to cancel with no penalty.

Will you service homes in a HOA?

Absolutely, we have preferred volume discount for HOAs and will work with your HOA to follow all necessary rules regarding your dumpster bin.

What if I have trash in my bin on my scheduled cleaning day?

Our community technicians will remove 1-2 bags of trash before service, complete the service and return the bags. This is under his/her discretion. Absolutely NO unbagged trash, NO hazardous waste, and NO building materials will be removed/touched.

How do I pay?

We require all subscription clients to keep a valid Credit Card on file with recurring payments to minimize service interruptions due to collections. You can choose to save 3% on your service by paying via bank routing information.

Do I need to be home during my trash can cleaning service?

No, you do not need to be home. However, your garbage cans must be placed curbside to ensure service. If our driver shows up and no cans are available we will try our best to reschedule service because no refund will be issued.

How will I know it is okay to move my garbage bins back in after service?

Look for the Southwest Bin and Pressure Washing Sanity Sticker on your garbage bin.

Do you offer various pressure washing services?

At the moment, NO, however, we do plan to implement and offer more pressure washing services on a Quote by Quote basis that fits our Garbage Bin and Dumpster cleaning schedule.
