Frequently Asked Questions
What areas does Southwest Bin and Pressure Washing service?
We currently provide service to Las Cruces, New Mexico; El Paso, Texas; Horizon City, TX; Mesilla, NM and all surrounding areas within 20 miles of these cities. If you are outside of our service area we can schedule your visit with an additional fee.
Why should I clean my trash bin?
Dirty trash cans can be home to many harmful bacteria and viruses such as E-Coli, Salmonella, Listeria, and Staphylococcus. We don’t just “clean” — we disinfect, sanitize, and deodorize your bins using 200°+ hot water technology.
How does the trash can cleaning service work?
Through our Solid Waste Eco Wash System, we high-heat pressure wash your bin with water over 200° Fahrenheit and a proprietary eco-friendly cleaning solution. Our system is built to minimize water waste and reduce harmful bacteria from entering our storm drains. Service is fully curbside and contactless — synced to your regular trash day.
Do I need to be home during my trash can cleaning service?
No, you do not need to be home. Your garbage cans must be placed curbside or visibly accessible to ensure service. If our Good Neighbor Technician shows up and no cans are available we will try our best to reschedule — however no refund will be issued.
How will I know my bins were cleaned?
Look for the service date matching your visit date on our Southwest Bin and Pressure Washing Sanity Sticker on your garbage bin. Every cleaned bin gets a sticker so you always know service was completed.
How often should I clean my garbage can?
We recommend a monthly maintenance plan. With desert heat regularly exceeding 95–100°F in our area, bacteria multiply rapidly inside bins — monthly cleaning is the most effective way to stay protected year-round.
Do I have to sign up all my trash cans?
No — our prices include 2 bins per wash. Additional trash cans can be added for an additional $5 to your subscription service.
Do I need to be on a subscription?
No, however we highly recommend a subscription to secure your spot on our schedule — we have limited residential availability. We also charge a premium for one-time service calls.
What if I have trash in my bin on my scheduled cleaning day?
Our Good Neighbor Technicians will remove 1–2 bags of trash before service, complete the service, and return the bags. This is at their discretion. Absolutely NO unbagged trash, NO hazardous waste, and NO building materials will be removed or touched.
Will you service homes in an HOA?
Absolutely. We have preferred volume discounts for HOAs and will work with your HOA to follow all necessary rules regarding your dumpster bin.
What happens if I move out of the service area?
If you are moving outside of our service area, please provide us with 30 days notice to cancel with no penalty.
How do I schedule a service?
Click here to book your service online, or call us at 1-575-300-7616 and our team will reach out shortly.
Do you offer pressure washing in all the same cities as bin cleaning?
Yes — we offer professional pressure washing in Las Cruces NM, Mesilla NM, El Paso TX, and Horizon City TX. The same Good Neighbor Technicians who handle your bin cleaning also handle pressure washing. Visit each city page for details on what we clean and how to book your free quote.
What surfaces do you pressure wash?
We pressure wash driveways, concrete, sidewalks, home exteriors (stucco, brick, siding), patios, pool decks, fences, block walls, and commercial surfaces. Our 3,000 PSI commercial equipment handles tough desert buildup — caliche, hard water mineral deposits, oil stains, and UV oxidation. For delicate surfaces like stucco and painted siding, we use a low-pressure soft-wash technique to clean safely without damage. Free quotes available at southwestbinandpressurewashing.com/book-now or call 575-300-7616.
